Thats nonsense We always knew the rules of the game:
1) Palestinians get Indian vote in UN.
2) Israel gets military contracts.
We are happy with it and would never agree to trade. All UN resolutions don't wort the paper they are written on.
Besides...even if India votes for or against Israel in the UN, it makes not an iota of a difference, especially since India is not a Veto power...Israel knows that the US has its back and thats all it needs in the UN. Of course the UNHRC vote has no vetos attached to it, but even if shit hit the fan (hypthetically), India's vote would be irrelevant in the final decision...
Allies like India can keep that delicate balance between Israel and the Arab world (which India needs to maintain for its own interests), while at the same time provide Multi-billion dollar arms trade which mind you is worth a lot more than this vote!
I see it as a win-win situation for both..
