War ends in 2 cases:
1) Capitulation.
2) Peace agreement.

Assad refuses to both. So war goes on.

There has never been war between Syria and Israel. War has to be declared for there to be war. Otherwise it's an unofficial war, like Vietnam war or Iraq war or Afghanistan war or Russia Georgia war or Cold War or Yugoslav war. You can call it a war, but it's not recognized as such in an international court.

So what? Israel broke the UN agreement by taking more than half of former Palestine. Anyway, war is because of different languages, different races, different religions. There will always be war because of it.

Syria has great relations with every country except Israel. Think about what Israel did to Syria that led to this. It's not Syria's fault. It's Israel's fault.

What happened here was immigration into the Ottoman Empire, where land was bought and settlements formed. The locals complained to the Ottomans, but their complaints were found to have no merit and were rejected. That was when the locals started to attack the immigrants.
