The U.N. already sends out "investigative" teams and the U.S. doesn't stop that. (I put "investigative" in quotes because their mandates are to only gather support for possible Israeli violations, not those of Hamas.)

It's the Israelis who advocate two states; Hamas, the P.A., etc. advocate the elimination of the Israeli state and Israelis.

The thing is bro, the line is very vague on what can be classed as propaganda and what is factual. Now mix in perceptions, bias amongst other things and you have a very difficult situation to judge. It's best to let things continue.

I agree but as long as it pertains to topic. He's clearly going on anti-Palestinian verbal tirade on topics not related to thread. They are related to the larger core of I/P conflict but not to specific topic being discussed. All his posts have been off topic rhetoric. He has not made a post related to this. 500 has given Israeli army account of what occurred and I gave Palestinian account. Although rhetoric and disrespect towards fallen Palestinians on duty defending border should not be tolerated. I have not employed any rhetoric towards injured Israeli soldiers.

There's difference between American and Jewish-American. One of them is not loyal to their country. He represents radical Jewish right wing in the United States. And his arguments are childish/waste of time for all members. The policy of the Obama Administration is to give Israel every military support but no political support.

You don't have to follow Israel-Arab affairs for long to realize that 99% of the human rights accusations against Israel are bogus, whereas the list of human rights violations of Palestinian Arab leaders isn't nearly long enough, nor acted upon. But do you really care? Isn't it a Pakistani characteristic to look at evidence that only reinforces existing prejudices and ignore evidence that contradicts the desired reality?

Jews giving land to Palestinian terror groups in exchange for peace doesn't work. Indeed, why should Jews be subject to increasing apartheid? They've been kicked or driven out of Muslim-majority states around the world. The Palestine Mandate says Jews are encouraged to "closely settle" in Mandate areas, either by fair purchase or upon state lands of the Jewish National Home. Zionists already ceded 70% of Mandate land to Jordan, which responded by illegally kicking its Jews out and seizing their property to reinforce Hashemite rule. You can't claim to care about what legal and moral obligations Arabs might have towards Jews so why do you think you can offer a just opinion about obligations Jews may have towards Arabs?

Where do you even get such figures? There are no journalists sitting near buffer zones on border during peaceful times. You made absolutely no point here.

This is not true, area is largely empty near the border. If you hadn't noticed, there was plenty of artillery fire and an aerial attack. Israeli's used to commit ground incursions on constant basis in past. And they do so with armored vehicles. Even without ground incursion, approaching border will get you shot. And if you go farther and start vandalizing property near fence you are violating cease fire terms.

If an armed Palestinian came a few hundred meters away from border line/fence they would be instantly shot dead by Israeli forces. You can't have it both ways. Just because you are immensely more powerful doesn't justify violating truce agreement. If you do believe so, then Israel is a pariah state. And sanctions need to be employed on all weapons sales/aid to Israel.

I think the larger anti-Israel point Hazzy is trying to establish is that in the absence of Israeli atrocities Israel must be planning atrocities hence Pakistanis should always hate Israelis regardless.

I do think it would be better if the Obama Administration asserted the actions and goals of Hamas are both criminal and reprehensible. Delegitimization holds better hope for Gazans than war and terror.

Context is everything. Hamas was launching rockets against Israeli civilians from civilian areas - two war crimes in one. If you only are willing to see the Israeli bombs rather than the Hamas bombardment you can't justly claim to be weighing judgement on the issue - and you can't claim to having a good grip on reality, either.
