Over the weekend, the Al-Mezzeh military airport in Damascus was heavily bombed. The Syrian regime immediately pointed an accusatory finger at Israel.

The Syrian army accused the Jewish state of support rebel groups, and said that the “Israeli enemy” had fired several missiles from the skies over the Sea of Galilee, without violating Syrian airspace.

Israel has repeatedly warned that it would respond forcefully to any aggression from the Syrian side of the border.

And that includes strengthening Israel’s Lebanese foe, Hezbollah.

While the Israeli government would neither confirm nor deny involvement in the Damascus bombing, journalist and military expert Ron Ben-Yishai said it was likely meant to prevent the delivery of Iranian missiles to Hezbollah.

The attack was part of the “war between the wars,” Ben-Yishai wrote in an article for the Ynet news portal.

A Syrian military source told Russian media that the Israelis had used their new US-made F–35 fighter jets in the attack.

. .
There are sources that claim an Israeli cruise missiles were used in the raid and that enabled Israeli jets to keep themselves away from the air defence systems currently installed. But then one wonders why these systems failed to stop cruise missiles ??

Frankly there is a saying in Urdu "Jitney moun utni batien" roughly translated to "the number of mouths equal number of rumours"

If F-35 really used and it successfully dodge the Russian air defense system Tells why US and it's ally are expending billion on this plane.

yes , there were other sources like VOA persian who said it was artillery fire from the Golan heights ! can you believe that ? i certainly can't , it was an f-35 for the sole purpose of testing the russian s-400 in syria , who knows maybe on direct orders from washington

yes , the russian airdefence protecting Damascus is infact s-400

. .
It was not F-35. Just bored journos.
I also think it wasn't the F-35, but if it was then Russia should get paranoid and develop a new SAM system that can defeat this new threat ASAP.

.
The russians have already confirmed it :

An unofficial social media channel affiliated with Hmeymim air base, the headquarters of Russia’s forces in Syria, said the attack had been conducted using F-35 warplanes. Israel received a shipment of the stealth fighters from the U.S. in December. Israeli military planners have said the aircraft is capable of evading Russia’s S-400 and S-300 advanced missile-defense systems, which were deployed in Syria over the last year, according to the Jerusalem Post.

yes , the russian airdefence protecting Damascus is infact s-400

The S-400 is located in Latakia actually. Damascus is at the borderline range of the 48N6. And it's unknown if the S-400 is equipped with the 40N6 in Syria.

.
but russia say they can detect usa stealth what heppend?

They may say it, but that in itself doesn't automatically make it true.

Now that being said, maybe it is true, maybe not? I'm certainly not one to say one way or the other.

.
Any stealth can be detected. The big question is range. To find the range u need to know exact parameters of the radar and stealth RCS.
