I doubt if Israel will attack. It always uses subterfuge and deceit to reach it's objectives, not so good when the adversary is forewarned, alert and ready.
Case in point: Israel attempt at Kahuta after Osirak - Kahuta was Pakistan's primary nuclear weapons development complex back in the 80's. However, Pakistan was forewarned and had prepared a befitting welcome for the Israeli AF. Saudi AWACS had detected Israel's aircraft flying over the Arabian sea towards India, and according to senior AF officials, Pakistan only got warned at 12AM. By 4AM, when enemy aircraft were detected approaching our borders from the Indian side, the whole airforce was alert with ground air-defences as well as combat aircraft performing CAP(Combat Air Patrols) over Kahuta.
And what did the vaunted Israeli AF do? They didn't even cross the border.
They work with subterfuge, and avoid fights when the adversary is alert and ready. I for one would have loved to see the Israelis try and come - the last time our PAF pilots flew against Israel during the Arab wars, we had achieved a 100% kill ratio, shooting down all aircraft engaged without loosing a single aircraft on our side. There was even an incident where Israel got Urdu-speaking people on the comm radio to direct the Pakistani pilots to land at an airfield the Israelis had captured, but that didn't work. Would have been fun if they had come to our airspace to attack Kahuta, it would have been nice to score some more Israeli AF kills.
I think I need to remind people of how pathetic Israel's performance in recent wars. How will Israel possibly face a much larger enemy like Iran, when it had a very tough time facing a single Hezbollah contingent(3000 men) in Lebanon? Israel couldn't even secure the immediate border region, let alone deeper areas inside Lebanon.
The Ground War
After-battle reports of Hezbollah commanders now confirm that IDF troops never fully secured the border area and Maroun al-Ras was never fully taken. Nor did Hezbollah ever feel the need to call up its reserves, as Israel had done. "The entire war was fought by one Hezbollah brigade of 3,000 troops, and no more," one military expert in the region said. "The Nasr Brigade fought the entire war. Hezbollah never felt the need to reinforce it."
Reports from Lebanon underscore this point. Much to their surprise, Hezbollah commanders found that Israeli troops were poorly organized and disciplined. The only Israeli unit that performed up to standards was the Golani Brigade, according to Lebanese observers. The IDF was "a motley assortment", one official with a deep knowledge of US slang reported. "But that's what happens when you have spent four decades firing rubber bullets at women and children in the West Bank and Gaza."

IDF commanders were also disturbed by the performance of their troops, noting a signal lack of discipline even among its best-trained regular soldiers. The reserves were worse, and IDF commanders hesitated to put them into battle.

That sure explains Israel's sabre-rattling. The only thing they're really good at is talk, their media does wonderful propaganda, even keeps their own people satisfied and not ask many questions. This doesn't seem like much else.
