Work in this direction should become a response to the missile program of Iran and potential threats such as mass missile volleys, the use of rockets with multiple warheads (mrv – multiple reentry vehicle) and multiple warheads with blocks independently targetable (mirv – multiple independently targetable reentry vehicle). 1) Iron Dome
2) David's Sling
3) Arrow-2

You are wrong about Aegis; it has delivered in complex testing conditions and real-time combat situations. It has no peer in capabilities besides GMD in its current form.

what? anti-ballistic defense is not a static game, just because you develop a system doesn't mean there is no more need for continual improvement. Arrow system TEL is able to launch both Arrow 2 and 3 missiles, this is not a complete redevelopment of the system but continuous improvement of missile capabilities. Aegis relies on continual development of SM family to keep up with the developing missile technology of potential foe, same applies to Israel.

No sense, Arrow and any other system of it's kind had failures during testing, some more than others (Not the case with Arrow fortunely).
Arrow 4 is aimed to target the MIRV problem and address it in a different way.
