I'd much rather live in a non-democratic country that respects the right of families to live within their own means than in a democracy that kills, steals and dispossesses people because they're not Jewish.

This has nothing to do with religion. The same happens to Jews and non religious who build against the law. In Israel you can't just pick a piece of land at random and build there whatever you want. Especially so not in the middle of the capitol (odd that I need to explain this to grownup people). There is city planning, permits, safety etc. If you just go ahead and ignore everything how can you be surprised when this happens?

On the contrary, this exact behavior is what holds democracy in Israel as opposed to the surrounding countries. Despite the pressure exerted by such as the OP over international forums over such a minor incident Israel will still withhold the rule that the law is the same for everyone. Fact is the family has built their home against the law. The same law that holds for everyone here, religion notwithstanding. There are hundreds of homes been built in Jerusalem each year, many of those are by Arabs. We have no problem with those because they follow the law.

I can't recall any of you arguing against Israel on the account of the many homes that get demolished each year across the country for not following city planing, due procedure etc. We are not a banana republic that each can do as he pleases and just build anything anywhere.
