Ye to mujhe pata hai tum logo ki personal dushmani hai mujh se. But still...would have closed the thread
It was painful to anti state Pakistanis and the stupid democracy worshippers who said ISPR would derail democracy and part take in civil matters.ISPR was active - was painful to many Pakistanis.
ISPR not active - again painful to many Pakistanis.
I agree, Pakistani media is useless.
When I hear questioning by some of Pakistani Journalists in English, I start to laugh. It is abysmal to say the least.
I mention one Pakistani journalist specially, not that I have something against him, but because he does try to read some reports in English in his programs. When Sabir Shakir reads English quotes in his programs, my stomach churns. How did he reached the lofty heights of "Bureau Chief" and almost a director within ARY Digital!!
Lets be fair, singling him out doesn't serve the purpose, they all are equally bad.
60 km and 20 casualties, right??Our military fights on the battlefield rather than on the internet or news media.
Raheel Sharif and Ghafoor.
Perhaps you have forgotten, it was your Military leadership that accepted the defeated in INFOWAR with Pakistan. In an interview your air chief accepted that Military victory was lost due to poor InfoWar....see his interview post Feb 27
It was your Army that said they want to set up a unit along the lines of ISPR....so nice joke
@Spring Onion se poocho she will tell you
I would have closed the thread - but this one needs to be run, I want answers too
Then Im sorry to say Khan saheeb. The actions will yield great results but their effectiveness will be severly mitigated by the great mind games and ridiculous propogandas the enemy will unleash. No talk just action now
ISI/Establishment has realized that it cannot sustain a tit for tat information war vis a vis India because of India's broader influence, credibility and numerical superiority. Ghafoor was tweeting a lot but nothing was happening, there is nothing to show - and eventually his handle got overwhelmed by the counter narratives. Maybe it is an effective tool to boost morale at home but in terms of achieving Pakistani objectives, ISPR has only made matters worse and caused India to adopt similar practices which ultimately have lead to a deeper stalemate with no effective way out other than to reduce such practices - which is what we are witnessing now.
Not really, it was PAF air power that subdued the Inidans:-"Remember it was ISPR which was a HUGE help in preventing India from emerging in the clear/or maybe even as a victor after 27 Feb."Then Im sorry to say Khan saheeb. How will you tell the world your view. When there is no talking to be done by the one PROFESSIONAL voice in Pakistan's media/national discourse?
Remember it was ISPR which was a HUGE help in preventing India from emerging in the clear/or maybe even as a victor after 27 Feb. And helped shaped the International narrative against India.
Other wise wouldn't have gotten exposure to our point of view. Bcz Indian randi rona media industry always moans, lies and cries the loudest.
#Hussain Nadim of Nerve center and Dr.Moeed Pirzada are two capable people in media. Listen to them.

@Path-Finder plz do participate Mr. Hot blood.
60 km and 20 casualties, right??
I say the same. But not out of any disrespect towards the military. We can't make them holy cows and just not discuss them.
@Path-Finder look I am not alone.
don't bring me into your nonsense. regards!
That is soo true wrt us lacking genuine investigative and otherwise journalists.#
I don't know the other guy. But Dr Pirzada is not. He reads some shit on WSJ, NYT etc and then try to impress people.
We seriously lacking investigative journalists. We never see any hard hitting original contents. We see people quoting from world media and expending on it slightly.
Say what you want about Indian media. Brash, yes. Boosting, yes. Lies, yes. not trust worthy yes. Biased, yes.
But at least you find so many of them writing for their country, its point of view, albeit false or oped , but they make an effort.
What we have are people like Sabir Shakir, whenever he start reading something in English I roll off laughing.
Sad situation, really bad.
I blame Pakistani media. Two three English prominent newspapers we have are so biased in favour of India, that you might as well treat them as Indian media. I am talking about Dawn, The News, Express etc.
When I was writing in 2012/2103 extensively, trying that the thieves of PPP and PMLN don't come back to power.
I submitted my articles to Dawn and The News. The News published one, but then found them too straight forward. So after that , that was that.
The irony is that, if I try, I probably can reach the owner of Dawn Haroon directly. But I am not one for favours. I want things on merit, otherwise, not interested.
Pakistani media has to changed dramatically in favour of its own nation and country.
