Why do you need a muslim geopolitical power, your faith should be personal, it shouldnt be reflected in the state and politics, thats the problem..not fluff. Always looking for a reason, surely religious people should have the inner faith and power to push through any problems. Thats another topic anyway.
The reality is that alot of mainly middle aged onwards muslim women know nothing of English despite spending decades here, should they have to learn it..no, not if they dont need to use it but they should because it further increases the stereotype of muslim women being locked in their houses and having the independence of a caged animal.
Most younger women born here will still not use it alot of the time because so many of their family havent learnt the language, I used to see it everyday when I was in college and some of the muslim girls I knew would be speaking to their parents in their native language, I dont even care about integration etc its just fucking lazy at the end of the day.
As for recent arrivals, they can bugger off, your not an immigrant, there are a hundred places between Syria/Iraq that are "safe" yet they are choosing to cross countless borders of countries where they are no longer under threat and as such become economic migrants, every single immigrant who is in the UK is an economic migrant purely because they have had to enter about 20 safe counties to get here and if your coming here with that intent, then learn the language and develop local friendship as opposed to alienation. People will just get more angry when they see people who obviously arent war migrants who are earning money and most likely sending it back home whilst making zero effort to learn local languages/ways.
