CAIRO: Islamic State's Egypt affiliate, Sinai Province, said on Friday in a statement posted on Twitter by supporters that it had launched three Grad rockets towards "occupied Palestine".

Israeli police said earlier they had found rocket remnants in an open area. No damage or casualties resulted. An Israeli army source said the missile was launched from the Sinai Peninsula bordering Israel and Gaza.

Not so long ago Egypt even offered to bomb Palestinians to get in good terms with Saudi-Israel ... That part of the world is ruled by short term interests. It is impossible to change it.

I think they are doing that to distract their fans from their huge failed attack and massive defeat on Wednesday and of course to appear as fighting israel by firing some rockets at nothing ( classic hamas stuff) gain some support.

This for sure isn't the first time, but it is the first 500 decided to publicize such incidents. Obviously he has an interest in this, my guesses:

1. He wants theories of ISIS not targeting Israel to end
2. Public military cooperation between Egypt/Israel will occur in Sinai and this incident is intended to make it appear not as cooperation but Israeli unilateral action
3. He wants to tie this to Gaza in some way

During IS attack on Wednesday they targeted a check point with suicide car anti aircraft guns and the vastly out numbered the 17 conscripts and one officer inside the check point they got as close as throwing granates at each other leaving more than a 20 bodies behind they don't usually leave any bodies behind only bloody sand
what iam trying to say is . IS is only a threat to the ones without well to fight or the ones without guns. I think egypt and Israel have both.

i think there is two ways how they get this box, maybe empty and maybe not
1. hamas have many of this boxes, from our operations in gaza
2. or some beduins stealed it from army base and selled it to hamas and....
