Thanks to army and CDA, most of water has been drained out from the worst affected areas.

Pretty heartwrenching watching military cleaning gutter and drainage lines in the capital. There would have been no problem if it was some remote flooded region but the capital?


Plz dismantle the civil service and hire professionals on contract basis actaully graduated and experienced in their relevant fields . these "know it all" bps22 clerks are leeching off of the treasury until they reach their retirement age

Its not about hiring professionals. It's about restructuring things on global scale. Same people can be effective. At least thats how I manage my teams.

Thats another part basically. So what I am talking about it to use existing manpower may be inducting few more guys for mid level tasks.
Basically we need to remove planners in planning commmsion.

Cause was cloud burst over a small area. And that small area happens to be developed by private builders who didn't pay much attention to luxuries like proper drainage and planning etc. While our CSS pass afsaran simply stamped their no objection stamps on all their plans.

And mind you, 10marla house in this sector costs around 3~5 crore.

So can you quote examples from Germany, France & Belgium where funds were allocated and spent but nothing was done on ground? I can surely find glorious examples from Pakistan. This is why CSS clerks are criticized. Gutter kholnay k liye bhi fauj ka hi intezar kartay hain while the thousands of support staff that only CDA employs are nowhere to be seen because their bosses probably receive a cut of their salary.

Pakistani qom ko terbiat ki zaroorat Hai. Her idara theek kerny ki zaroorat Hai. Thar, Karachi, ya Gujranwala ki kharabi daikh ker koi yeh na samjhay keh yeh kharabi Islamabad nahi pohnchygi.
We need a society where things can be planned for next 100 years, where people can plan for next 50 years with no problem. Where daily life is easy and procedures are known. A society where culprits know that they can run, but they can't hide.
