Something like, "We got away with doing it to the Armenians, so we can do the same to the Kurds."

P.S.: Are you back in Pakistan after finishing business school in the U.S? How are the mangoes?

The Kurds have not turned against Turkiye, it's an issue of rebel groups trying to threaten the unity of Turkiye and its land. They've received such thrashings by the air force and ground forces that they were forced into a ceasefire and peace talks. APO is still in the custody of the Turks, PKK's only real hideout is across the border in the mountains of northern Iraq

Pakistan is proud to be home to the best mangoes on earth my friend. Yes I completed my MBA with full honours. I was however recently in Sacramento California for a dear friends wedding. It was an orthodox jewish wedding actually and I'm pretty sure I was the only Muslim in site.

Made many friends, the brides parents and the bride herself are good friends lovely human beings

How can you be sure it's "nothing more"?

Turkiye is playing a more constructive role than the US has been, with all due respect

I'm seeing snippets online whereby Americans are bashing Obama for his inaction/collusion. The Turks have legitimate security concerns though I wish Erdogan didnt take such a hardline approach against Assad. Turkiye's only threat was PKK but now Daish is part of the problem. The international community should stand by the Turks - unlike how they did with Pakistan when we were safeguarding our interests and thrashing the TTP (which is also foreign sponsored and aimed at weakening our unity - which has failed miserably)

Has ISIS been destroyed yet ? It's been more than "a couple of hours" since this thread has been posted.

Congratulations! Did you dance with the men, too?

That's O.K. Under this president, the U.S. doesn't deserve that much respect when it comes to playing a constructive role, rather than a destructive one.

Turkey was taking pages out of Pakistan's book and looking the other way while ISIS was recruiting.
The international community should stand by the Turks -
Turkey is part of NATO and attacks upon Turkish soil are in NATO's treaty area. The Turks can call for NATO assistance when they wish.

Pakistan has been breeding devils for so long, it's tough to believe much if any "foreign sponsorship" was needed for the TTP to take root and grow, yes?

ISIS (or the greater civil war) wont be destroyed as long as Iraq and Syria are used as proxy playground chess-boards by countries like Qatar, elements in Saudi, elements in Iran, and then of course USA and Russia.....all of these entitites took sides. Now it's a free for all.

Russia bombs and thrashes the goats out of takfrifi terrorists.....Saudi and US provide anti-tank TOWs and SAM/MANPADS systems to "moderate rebels" whose loyalties change quicker than i go through pairs of socks
