Militant commander Hafiz Saeed killed in Khyber blast

PESHAWAR: A key militant commander was killed along with three accomplices following blast in Pakistan’s tribal region bordering Afghanistan, ARY News reported.
According to details, extremist commander Hafiz Saeed Khan was killed as a result of a blast in Tor Darra area of Khyber Agency on Thursday.
Three accomplices of the commander were also killed in the explosion.
According to reports, Saeed, 42, had lately pledged allegiance to Daesh also known as Islamic State. He was formerly linked with Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
Saeed after joining Islamic State had named his group IS Khorasan spanning Pakistan, Afghanistan, India, Bangladesh and parts of Central Asia.
However, the nature of blast could not be ascertained which claimed Saeed’s life.
