ISIS Bangladesh chief wants Bengal to be center of global Jihad

Geographically its not possible to have a base of Islamic state in Bangladesh because we are far far away from Islamic countries. Our country is surrounded by Hindu and Buddhist majority countries. I am also interested to know how IS has a base in Bangladesh.:what:
its using guerilla warfare in BD, base is being used as a broader context here. We have already witnessed the election violences and the violence last year by the JeI, if someone decides to arm the JeI under the banner of IS, BD is fucked.

.
This is going to come back to bite India one way or another either it will have a stream of terrorists coming in from the Eastern side or the economic disparity will drive so many migrants into India so as to make the Mexico/US issues seem trivial or both scenerios will happen.

This will finally help us in using force against these people

For too long they have got away in the guise of being " poor labourers " coming to make a living

.
From what I see BD is descending into anarchy (my perception, it could be misplaced) but no matter what the threat of economic migration is only going to grow for India as the economic disparity grows between India and the rest of the region. It's better to tackle these issues now then down the road and face a Mexcio-US situation (which is a total mess).
You bharati have very high perception about yourselves.:lol: I am seeing BD will overtake India in gdp growth in coming 2-3 yeras. This year India's gdp growth is only 0.5 percent higher than Bangladesh.Modi magic will not last forever.:P

I didn't say the hackings are ISIS connected. Simply thats probably the most that will happen in Bangladesh in terms of extremism by default.

ISIS is not even a small percentage yet of the extremism that does exist in Bangladesh right now. They have little to no depth even among the B'desh fanatics that exist (and are willing to put actions to thought and words)...and its doubtful there will be any huge shift in the makeup that currently exists.

I mean ISIS is already past its prime where it is right now. None of their predictions have come true, they are waning seriously and will be history not to far from now compared to when they were at their prime. How they splinter and stay around long term will again have little effect on most muslim fanatical populations worldwide outside of the hearth area where ISIS formed....since fanatics naturally need the aura of success and momentum to breed support and sanctuary where they are....both of which are in severe short supply from ISIS now. When at their prime they had little effect in South Asia, they will have even less in the coming months and years.
There are many factor which enabled ISIS.
1.Firstly,decade long Iraq war and regimentation of Iraq into Shia,Sunni,Kurdi and other faction. With easy recruits in Iraqi radicalized sunni youth.
2.President Bashar and his loyal Alawits and Christian minority holding power against majority sunni population resulting in a massive civil war with a variety of international player involved.
3.NATO countries specially US and Turkey's distribution of arms and dollar without distinguishing radical or non radical opposition of Asad regime.
4.Pathetic resposnse of Iraqi army to ISIS attack. When both of your govt. and defence force are in transition period and divided loyalty to govt. and ethno-religious identity reinforced with poor training and planning, you can expect a military disaster.
5.Both central govt. of Iraq and Syria are weak and or engaged in a vicious civil war.So no proper response to ISIS threat.
6.ISIS is no stronger than Taliban or AL Quida. But they generated a lot of media attention due to their extreme brutality. But brutality is not the sign of strength. So they seems larger then what they are.
7.Large oil revenue enabling ISIS to fund salary and arms in black market.Without middle eastern oil field in control it will be difficult to replicate the ISIS success.
Do you think any of this criteria can be fulfilled in Bangladesh?

Like India isn't doing anything for boosting growth. :P
Even 7.5% growth is slow for Bharatiyas.
If BD can achieved 7% growth rate, India is also targeting for double digit growth rate in next 5 year plan. Reforms+ Infrastructure boost. We will grow at least much faster than BD and China if not in double digits. :D

Or you can revert to 3-4 percent growth just like 2012-2014 period. You current gdp growth figure is questionable.

I suppose for one, remittances track the legal immigrants eg. H1B visa holders sending money to India..
India's problem is with the illegal immigrants...(loosely referred to on this forum as the pole vaulters, if you will)..the people that cross illegally, don't pay their taxes, squat on the roads and are basically part of the underground economy..it becomes a burden on the state. India has a lot of them it seems from the noise being made about them..

India would more than welcome those BDeshi professionals that want to pursue careers in India, students included through the legal channels.
Bangladesh obviously is one destination where Indian professionals seem to find opportunities outside of India and that's a good thing! Hence the remittances.
Only 3% of the entire population of India pay taxes...and economic migrants(had they been Indian citizens) wouldn't pay taxes anyway...India-Bd situation could be compared to the US-Mexico situation if India had a economy like that of the US(which it doesn't)....Indian currency does not hold as much value in BD as Dollar would in Mexico...so unless the remittance from India comes in legally(and exchanged for Taka) it is worthless here....if the migrant situation was as bad as it is made out to be Bangladesh would see a huge reserve of Rupee(Since smuggling has gone down due to the fencing and increased patrol...we would also see a lot of free rupee floating around and no where to go)....it hasn't....and the US has a welfare structure that can be exploited for benefits by illegal immigrants....the welfare system of India is virtually similar to that of BD...so the entire "noise" is part demagoguery and part bloated sense of self importance.

So somebody gave conspiracy theory and you believed. Seriously, what advantage could we've got from fudging numbers. Or if our economy was failing, we couldn't venture in so huge infrastructure and Research projects like we are doing today.
To be honest,
you guys can outpace us in growth when India gets caught in upper middle income trap, that's not now.
Otherwise, keep dividing our and your per capita incomes gap will only increase for some more decades.

.
Pakistan has more chances of becoming ISIS stronghold rather than BD. There are already thousands of good terrorists which are under pakistan army's protection. god knows what will happen when ISIS gets its hands on Pakistani nukes. its really serious matter.

Exactly right (in the long term) but I hope this sort of thing wakes up the Indian establishment to step up their efforts along all Indian borders.
all is well mate... ULFA is mostly down, they are the only group supported by bd. bd is getting better economically so, you wont see much migration if people can get jobs easily back home.

Haa haa haaa
And Pakistani pessimist say Jinnah's secular vision is alive in Bangladesh!

More seculars have been attacked and killed at the hand of hooligans in Bangladesh than Pakistani..Mullah are actually losing power now in Pakistani society!

Bangladesh is a very compact country with high population density. So developmental cost per capita and per unit of area will be less then India.Bangladesh can reap the benefit just like Japan,Korea,Singapore, Taiwan. They are also compact country with high population density.India have too much internal contradiction to successfully compete with the countries like Bangladesh.GDP growth gap is diminishing between two counties and it will eventually cross and accelerate in near future in favour of BD.

some indians are having serious delusion that BD ppl are running to India for economic welfare.
Just a example: We are having household servant crisis here. no income ppl now leaving Cities and going back to their villages because they are getting jobs there, forget about going to India, they are not even interested in living in Cities of Bangladesh.

but there are thousands of terrorists which got full army support in Pakistan like hafiz saeed and masood azahar which are potential ISIS fighers. and majority of Pakistanis support terrorism in Kashmir. and majority of Pakistanis are radicalized. they are all potential ISIS supporters.
