dude i just posted other thread where it says that usa will still use shamsi air base even after the ISI protest,

The base hasn't been used since February of this year, & according to some reports (Al-Jazeera & others), even from last year & before. All in all, the air base has not been used by the US for a while, & the main base for launching drone strikes inside Pakistan has been Jalalabad.

Then instead of requesting them to get into a deal why don't stop them from using Jalalabad. It's shameful that on one hand you are letting them use your territory to launch attacks to kill your countrymen and on the other hand trying to seek deal to end drone attacks.

Any and all cooperation with the US in the military and intelligence spheres needs to be transparent and approved by Pakistan's parliament.

The public does not need to know the specific operational details of the intelligence and military cooperation, but we need an official agreement outlining the type and limits of the cooperation, especially in terms of US military and intelligence operations in Pakistan.

Jalalabad is in Afghanistan, not Pakistan. Pakistan cannot stop the US from using the site in Afghanistan.

When ISI protested over Shamsi base? Does it come into their job description? GHQ has official rights for making any decision over it but not ISI. ISI just support and put their decision in GHQ to bring their decision in form of protest, order or information through ISPR or relative military or civil departments.

Yes, you are right and military establishment made decision to bring all security agreements with US into legal written form, but we don't know they remember it or not or may be this decision is put in cold stock.

Pakistan has total rights to terminate third party threat against its nation security interests where international law didn't support US drones strikes. We discussed it before many times that dual face politics of our government is main problem other wise nobody can fire even a bullet on Pakistan. Scenario is clear and doubtless so there could not be more discussion till our military & civil top level secret agreements being in power.

Pressure the elected representatives to bring the agreement to the parliament, and hold them accountable in the coming elections if they cannot provide a proper answer.
