Credible information available with Indian intelligence agencies suggests that Pakistan’s intelligence agency, the Inter Services Intelligence (ISI), has directed the Indian Mujah-ideen to launch a fresh spate of 'high value terror attacks in the country'.

The ISI’s strategy is to hit India economically at a time when many countries in the world are facing an economic slowdown.

It wants Indian Mujahideen to create an atmosphere of fear and uncertainty so that multi-national companies in India shut shop. At the same time, the terror attacks will also deter other MNCs that are planning to invest in India.

Intelligence inputs also suggest that the ISI is using Bhatkal brothers, Riyaz and Iqbal, who in turn have directed Yaseen Bhatkal, the India chief of IM, to carry out this operation.

Yaseen Bhatkal has been on the run ever since the Intelligence Bureau and the Delhi police’s crime branch smashed the Darbhanga module of IM.

‘India to try all options to nomalise ties’

India on Monday said it would explore all options to normalise relations with Pakistan and its intentions are “very transparent” in this direction.

“With Pakistan, speculation will never stop and I wouldn’t like to enlist myself in the club of speculators. All I can convey to you is that India’s intention are very honest, India's intentions are very transparent,” external affairs minister S.M. Krishna said.

His remarks came a few days after India and Pakistan failed to sign a liberalised visa deal, agreed on between Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari in April.

Pakistan to consider Sarabjit’s release
Pakistan has given an assurance to India to consider positively the request for release of Sarabjit Singh, a condemned Indian prisoner currently lodged in a Lahore jail.

The assurance was given when home secretary R.K. Singh called on Pakistan interior minister Rehman Malik in Islamabad last week. Mr Singh was briefing about his visit to Islamabad for the Indo-Pak Home Secretary-level talks on May 24 and 25.

During the talks, the Indian delegation had cited the release of Pakistani virologist Khalil Chishti and requested Islamabad to release Sarabjit as well.

Sarabjit was convicted for his involvement in 1990 serial bomb blasts in Lahore and Multan that killed 14 people. He was given death sentence, but his execution was indefinitely put off by the Pakistan government.

Fake currency, attacking our scientist and bomb blast in our large cities, that's how Pakistan has planned to hurt Indian economy but Pakistan failed considerably.

To destablise india the ISI needs to attack india strongly and frequently which is of course not possible with not only indian pressure but also the pressure from the entire world coming into play plus there is a continuous threat that india might retaliate with india patience getting thinner and public pressure.

One more kasab like evidence and the pain in paksitan's arse will ever increase.

Some people in the media have just too much time on their hands!

Pakistan as a state have used terror as a means to destabilize india,as admitted by their present president Asif ali Zardari and Previous one Parvez Musharaff..But after the mumbai attacks which damaged pak image considerably, any mujahideen attack on Indian soil will point fingers at pakistan and damage pak image further more.

height of obssession!

some think k hum itney farigh hain...... We have a super power and large number of taliban to handle here....

Indians and their notion of 'self importance'. All of ISI's resources are employed against the WOT, i doubt it if they have any resources to spare.

Few months back when a member of a gang whcih was involved in fake currency was arrested she was blammed as ISI agent in the very first posts....but as usual no proof was ever provided.

With respect to Indians - Pakistan have enough on their plate - Please stop giving yourselves this level of importance. I think our intelligent agency is occupied to the max and our neighbors need to calm down with their obsession guys. Have a coffee and calm down.....
