IS TURKEY SAFE TO VISIT ?

How would I know whether the Turkish food I tasted in Singapore was Turkish or not when you never invite me for dinner ? :(

Lol..at another life why not. Well that reminded me when I was in London I was fed up with foreign food and didn't like the steaks much. I saw a Turkish restaurant so we jumped on it. Guy was from Gazimağusa, a province in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. I ordered a meal of Beyti Kebap, but I got meatballs with rice instead, google Beyti Kebap then you'll get what I mean

.
so turkey is safe because half naked bachian are dancing in videos?-

.
Most appropriate place to go..especially if u r a muslim..!
There will a plenty ov halal food available and its very beautiful anyway.!

Wow that's cool. Well the irony is that for us the Turks, we keep complaining about Turkish food abroad arguing they were no near at food back in home. AFAIK Şavurma is Arabic. Döner Kebap is what you actually eat if you're up to Turkish food but you'd probably know that. Because of Döner, big brands here like Subway, KFC, Popeye's, Arby's, Burgerking and even McDonald's fail to have a descent place as they have in Europe and the money goes to Turkish foodmakers thanks to Döner, helps furtherly advancing the domestic economy.

well its been a year now so i dont actually remember what my brother ordered , but they have some hard names but very delicious food i must say , we are generally used to with spicy food , but if i am not wrong Turkish food is not that Spicy , at least the one i ate ...
but this i remember that one dish was made of meat , and other was lamb :D but both are just awesome ..

Antalya is beautiful. For Turkish men its like 'domestic point of contact for investment to Hell" lol.

Well, I have also had "investment to hell" so I know. But some things are irristable.

It's okay, I am from that other 50% of the nation.

Well, I am pleased to talk with Turks but even more pleased to talk with the other better 50% of the nation.

Besides Antalya even Ankara here is colorful as well, except it's landlocked.

Well, Antalya was essentially a tourist resort.

Warning, if you're burdened with religion

Some very good looking girls there. Not to sure about the music. When I went back in 2009 this was big hit in Antalya. Again please refer to caption in red above.

Well, I am not an expert but I will try to help if you deem necessary.

Well, I have noticed in UK any fast food joint with "Istanbul Donner" gets crowds lining outside. So any Turks interested in opening a fast food outlet in UK let me know. I have a place available. This is serious proposal. I also have some manpower (womanpower also ) but we need to get real authentic quality Turkish fast food.

there is terror risk in Political unrest, riots, natural disaster are the one one should watch out for when travelling.

Yes I agree. When I visited Antalya I faced lot of "political unrest" when the Russian lady from yesterday found out I was in Estonia the next day. That meant lot of political unrest between Russia and Estonia.

Yes, riots. There was lot risk of riots. In the evening crowds of nubile women got drunk and the went wild. That is some riot to watch. Very, very dangerous I can confirm.

Natural disaster. Yes, very, very, very high risk of natural disaster. When you woke up in the morning in a strange bed your fist thought is " Oh no did I use safe ***".

Trust me Turkey is very, very dangerous place in particular if you have a beard.

I agree, soon we'll be the vast majority 'inşallah'. But after all they are a part of us as well and only together we make this nation a prosperous country.

The song sounds familiar though. I might have heard of it someplace.

I understand, I have a couple friends in London but most likely they're employed in private sector and have very little sense of food. Also even if you can find a Turk eligible for your criterias you've said I think it won't be any different than those in there at UK, I can't talk about profit though.

Instead, I suggest you contacting major Döner brands for partnership if there are any in UK. If not you can share your idea with major döner brands in Turkey. There are a couple that have possibilities to expand abroad just like how Simit Sarayı did, a bagel brand . I can get you their contact informations.

I have been requested to visit Turkey for some 10 days in September this year. I watched the news last night and apparently there was a terrorist attack after which the government clamped down on extremists. To the Turk members, and those members who are familiar with Turkey, is it safe to visit now? I will be based mostly in Istanbul and surrounds.
Coming from India you shouldn't be asking for security in Türkiye!
