I was very excited when I saw this forum and its constructive debates. It was an eye opener and it is being handled very well by the moderators. I joined pretty recently.

I have a lot of frnds from India and I have asked them to join the forum for some constructive debate. Unfortunately there has been a splurge of anti-india articles lately. I can understand if its about Muslims being ill treated but some have been outright non sense.

I urge the mods to use this very good platform to start a very constructive and peace loving section where there is no bashing on any country and only explore avenues of peace and understanding.

Thanks for the vote of confidence.

I would urge you to report such topics to the moderators using the report post button.

Some issues are relevant for discussion however, despite the negativity asscociated with them.

Notice for example that we have allowed the thread 'Is Pakistan going bankrupt?" to continue, though the title would automatically come across as inflammatory to some Pakistanis, especially when the thread starter is Indian. But I think that the thread raises good arguments about the economic situation in Pakistan.

Similarly, given the recent riots and communal violence in India, is it not appropriate to start a thread asking a question related to India's stability? Indian members are most welcome to constructively and with civility offer rebuttals to the arguments raised by such questions, as many Pakistanis have tried to do in the Pakistan going bankrupt thread.

Nontheless, we do not need a spate of threads about XYZ person killed all over the forum - one thread discussing the potential instability in India due to the ethnic and/or communal violence is enough to conduct discourse on.
