Is there any neutral and unbiased news channel in Pakistan?

Is it possible for news channel to be free from any political influence or political propaganda ? We know that journalists/anchors of political shows wish to get TRPs which is not possible without creating unnecessary hype or without being unbiased and objective in their political analysis so its quiet obvious for us to see the political bias and affiliation of most news channels as well as journalist towards certain political parties or leaderships or even army

What is your your favourite news channel in Pakistan? Who is your favourite journalist or anchor of political shows? Do you watch some news channels simply because they present your political thoughts and present things as you wish to see them?

All of these should be shut down , as most of the reporting is based of journalism that can't be substantiated by evidence that is acceptable in Courts.

The shows themselves cannot sustain their lavish anchor host salaries with out donations from Politcal affiations.

Most of which is paid overseas in UAE. There is no sponsorships for such shows most of time quite a few run with out any specific sponsors (that outright display their support)

The political alliances are certainly visible in broad cast and you can clearly tell which channel is pro PML or which channel has affiliation or soft spot for PPP etc or MQM etc

Investigative journalism should be encouraged provided there is a standard for validating the investigation done in the report with heavy reprecutions in case the reporting for incorrect or unsubstantiated. Such a process does not exist in Pakistan today.

I tend to follow PTI specific news and updates on Panama Leak reporting on various channels every once in a while

Quite a few of these channels also run false campaigns during election time, to scare people from going to polling stations by focusing strictly on the negative news or disturbances

Considering the financial funding for these channels is coming from external avenues , in UAE, and the funds get deposited in UAE or other places it makes it difficult to track down the indirect political party influence on reporting

I watch ARY for Kashif Abbassi and 92news for Rauf Klasra. They are my favourite host for political shows.

I can't watch cartoons more as per age but when I have mood for it I watch Dr Shahid Masood and Dr Liaqat they make me laugh ^ - ^ @
