the US or china the current goliaths in military numbers although who knows terrorism started world war 1 it was the black hand assassination WW2 was started by hitler and his imperialistic lusts although britain was a little hypocritical about imperialism

the US needs a lot more oil than it has and will eventually try to acquire it any way possible
the same goes for china too much demand not enough fuel sov which will attempt to acquire the remaining reserves first that remains to be seen

keeping im mind that China's military forces are the ones that have the most military muscle on the planet and won't be afraid to flex it when the time comes as for the training i couldn't say

the US has plenty also but has no where near as much as china however they have better equipment better guns and modifications the US marines training is very strict and they are deadly fighters because of it

However there is a third major possibility in the future if the insurgents (terrorists) are not dealt with they may kick start the 3rd world war

The unsolved Middle East conflict and territorial disputes are fertile ground for unrest. So keeping its troops combat ready is Israel’s top priority. On Thursday, Defense Minister Ehud Barack was Beer Sheva in southern Israel where the first battery of Iron Dome missiles designed to intercept short and mid-range rockets and artillery shells was deployed. Similar systems will be stationed near the border with Gaza and Lebanon.

Finally, the Israeli public opinion is also being prepared for a potential new war. Last week, the Knesset passed a bill allowing courts to revoke the citizenship of anyone convicted of terrorism, spying or treason against Israel.

This is false. The USA has plenty of oil, coal and natural gas to meet its needs. The USA has never exploited the oil offshore in the Atlantic, most of the Pacific and much of the Caribbean and Alaska. Also there is a great deal of oil shale in the USA and Canada that has not been harvested. On top of this the USA has one of the largest reserves of coal and natural gas of any nation. The issue is simply environmentalism. The USA, as a very rich nation, has chosen to let other nations despoil their environments to extract carbon fuels, preserving the USA's waters and lands. However, should push ever come to tremendous shove, this USA "choice" could change. Also, if CO2 sequestration technology ever has a breakthrough, then the USA's vast coal reserves could be tapped for all the energy the USA needs for the 21st Century.

Finally, the USA could satisfy its energy needs for the next few decades by ramping up energy conservation technologies while buying oil from only nations in the Western hemisphere, such as Brazil, Mexico, Venezuela and Canada.
