We have no issues with Pakistan other than their support to groups which pick up guns in 4-5 districts in kashmir.regarding economy don't worry even if we spend 20:1 compared to Pakistan it dsnt come to even a small part of what we write off as farmers loans each year in India .

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) managed to surpass the total tax collection target for the fiscal year ended on June 30 by Rs26 billion at Rs3,130 billion, despite witnessing a steep fall in global oil prices.

So Tax collection of close to 4000 billion Rs, and about 20 billion USD of Remittances to Pakistan per year is making running Pakistan, talking about finances, US aid is a meager 500 million per year and less than 0.25% of Pak GDP and less than 0.5% of Pak annual budget of 41 billion USD...

The debt to GDP ratio is 68% , manageable.

4% of Chinese GDP not trade mind you is around $400 billion and if you want to earn $8 billion on it that's around 2% you have to charge.now if you take the actual trade then the % charged will be even higher to get the $8 billion.
now compare the biggest toll booth in the world,Panama and see how much trade flows through it and how much they make out it a year. you will lol on yourself mate

4% of $4 trillion is about $12 billion if a single truck takes $5k of good and $100 is collected (total) from gwadar to china and about 1000$ is collected from ships so its become 6 billion with oil its become 8 billion and dont forget they are over coming electricity shortage and planting industries which eventually increase gdp and export of the country

I full support CPEC but I think the investments in CPEC are a too little and too late.

Pakistan needs to step on the CPEC gas pedal and need to invest $300-$500 Billion in the next 3-5 years.

When USSR invaded Afghanistan US was with Pakistan
When Pakistan became nuclear US was with Pakistan
When 9/11 happened US was with Pakistan

Now Pakistan has divorced US and has married China for CPEC.
Only time will tell how this new marriage would perform.
