Is Pakistan Consuming More Oil the rest of Planet Countries ?

Pakistan is one of the few countries that relays on oil for power generation..either in large power plants or in small internal combustion generators. This needs to be cut.

Also their has been a huge boom in private car ownership with no real fuel economy requirements. Almost every household has a motor bike.

Egypt ~ Consumes only 80,000 Barrels per day
New Zealand ~ consumes only 101,200 Barrels per day
Morocco ~ consumes 148,500 Barrel per day
Bangladesh ~ consumes only 25,320 Barrel per day
Denmark ~ 99,000 Barrel per day
Ukraine - 33,020 Barrel per day

Bhaijaan only country on that list that has comparable population to Pak is Bangladesh. The others are all minuscule. I do not know why BD consumption is so low.

Because our government is idiot.

Our whole country is run by gas. Our stupid ministers act as if the whole country is flooding with natural gas.

We use gas in households, we use it to run private cars and punvic transports. Almost all of our power plants produce electricity by using gas.

It's also one of the most vastly used resources in garments factory.

Very important point being made here, notwithstanding the fact that Pakistan gets her oil cheap over reliance has led to soaring import bills and circular debt. Thermal and hydel power plants are the bedrock of any emerging country's economy, thirty years too late.

Bangladesh is outlier, all others in list are not.

Irrelevant comparison as suggested by others already.

In Bangladesh most of the cars and public transports use gas instead of oil.

Egypt is oil rich you muppet! The figures are for oil imports not oil consumption. Egypt actually used to export oil until a few years ago. Also their population is half ours! I mean of all the inane posts you make this must be the worst!

Bad habbits how I see it

Lack of advanced public transportation, buses dont count. We need to go electric with all of pubic trains and build subways.
