This is very common across the world, Including USA. When Trump start his campaign, he made promises and he may have deliver some and fall short on others but people believe in their leaders, so its not a unique thing that Pakistani's believed in IK, but truth is that even if you ask his supporters they will tell you that they weren't 100% sure on all his promise, because no leader exists today who made promises in his/her campaign and fulfils every one of them.

I have no problem if his supporters choose to continue to believe in a leader that they know is making promises he cannot possible deliver on. It is their choice, and they will bear the consequences too, so it is quite alright by me.
