When Osama Bin Laden (may he rot in hell) people all over the world went into celebrations, its true that this incident is a setback for al-qaeda, but several analysts all over the world are commenting that America should have had captured him, the Jihadis would surely look at Osama as a martyr. Osama according to some analysts always knew that if America wages a war on al-qaeda his days would be numbered, despite these fears he lured america in attacking afghanistan, he wanted to stretch the war so long that america would bleed to bancruptcy, and he succeded in hais plans to a greater extent, It is also a known fact that osama was not an important figure in al-qaeda anymore, with several factions wanting to remove him. But al qaeda is still furious over his death and the next few days would be tense in pakistan because al-qaeda would certainly look for revenge.

No...It is not the end for al-Qaeda. It has evolved into a franchise and the Iraqi affiliate defiance of the original leadership is proof of that decentralization and operational independence of many local 'offices' of al-Qaeda. It can only end when the muslims decide for themselves its ideology is unattractive and take steps beyond governmental measures to stop the dissemination of al-Qaeda ideology.

Well i think its the end of AQ in the region.. the members will receive a call letter from the HQ of other organisations and will join them, on maybe a lower salary.

If retaliatory attacks by Al Qaida factions happen, then we will come to know, which way the WOT will go.
