Is Indian reconditioned car import a viable option?

Just buy a good compact fuel efficient car (preferably from late 1990s or early 200s)from a good manufacturer (I recommend the old Zen from Maruti Suzuki), lock, stock and barrel with full ToT..lay out a plant...punch them out by the hundreds. No need for import.
