1)Why can't anyone understand that all the money put into pakfa will eventually trickle doen to su-27 series ie su 30 and su-35

2)Even if osf and spectra are better(which i think they are) the logistical simplicity of operating same type of aircraft with similar equipment is immense,no one can deny that

3)pakfa and fgfa are definitely gonna close the gap with western fighters(cannot match them though) and we are not concerned with west but china and pakistan

4)The economy simply cannot sustain this deal after this low growth and food security bill passage

5)even if passed we are very late and its wiser to get 100 initial pakfa units than rafale as we have atleast 20-25%(not 50) work in their production and it will help local industry immensly

I am totally naïve about technicalities . My responses are based on what I feel ( so I can be drastically wrong ) . But I tend to agree with you.


I think only FGFA will be able to counter Chinese lead fighter aircrafts...because they are moving ahead too fast.

I do believe we shouldn't dump an ally like Russia and we need to accelerate FGFA.
The trend is that Indo-Russian relations are getting strained day by day whatever are the reasons...it's not good .

sir, I checked and I found that price is costly only for super sukhoi standard. And regarding F-35 collabration, it doesn't ensure that you are gonna get TOTs.

which country has delays of 6 years on aircraft carrier.
When we had pokran 2 test russia also didnt support us.
And now Russians are shifting there so called friendship to china.

They helped us because we while we earn in ruppe we paid them in $$ USD .They didn't do it for free

Russia is and was never an ally
After independence Americans helped *****,So For countering them Russian showed us sympathy.
They are selling us old 2nd class equip for higher rater on the name of TOT.Common man we are not there slave or we are not bound to them its total insanity.

I am not favoring Americans they are worse,we need to learn from them they do what is best for there interests.
I believe that We should manufacture ours and if we are not capable or there is tech problem collaborate with foreign companies....

In time of war we can manufacture indigenous stuff no country will provide us there tech.

You are saying right india without inspecting the ship brought it they just had a look
but my point is why the delay Doesn't the price hike and delays harming us
if it was inducted 6 years back India would had strategic dominance
