Is China’s atheist Communist Party trying to eradicate Islam?

Also all you posters saying negative things about Uygurs and Hui have never met them. They are awesome, kind, beautiful people in appearance and in their hearts. They are peacefully spending time in Tablighi Jammat, praying, doing itikaf, following Sufi teachers, learning poetry. They are a very soft and good-natured people who tend toward orthodox/moderate Islam. Uygurs are ethnic Turks closer to Uzbeks than to Chinese. Hui are Han Muslims.

Stop the hate and begin loving Muslims in your countries. This worldwide vilification of Muslims coming from the west and spreading elsewhere has made life difficult for honest, hardworking people.

I’m speaking mainly to the Chinese posters here, because you are going to start hearing this a lot from Pakistanis and our new government. How you treat Muslims in China will directly affect our opinions of China. I believe this issue can be resolved peacefully to benefit both Uygurs and China.

I don’t have much hope for Indians.

Xinjiang is only place that shines in central Asia, education, infrastructure, life expectancy and health care...Very soon Xinjiang will become a fully developed region sitting next to shithole war torn countries where people count themselves lucky if you can live to 40 years of age if not die as a now born baby.

Nope, cloth cutting.:undecided:

China enforces dress code in Xinjiang by cutting up women's clothing
Photographs out of Xinjiang, China over the past few days have documented how police and Communist cadres in the region are enforcing dress codes imposed on Uyghur women.

China claims that the threat of Islamic extremism in the central Asia region, also known as East Turkestan, has made authoritarian measures necessary, such as prohibiting Uyghur women from wearing long dresses. Photos shared on twitter over the past weekend show cadres cutting the clothes of Uyghur women on the street to enforce the dress code.

In what must be a humiliating experience for the women, the dresses, which in many cases should properly be called long shirts, are either sheared off at the bottom, or cut partially, to ruin the clothing and compel the women to avoid wearing similar items in the future.

Chinese authorities have already prohibited the more traditional body coverings that are a hallmark of fundamentalist Islam. So in an effort to dress modestly, many Uyghur women have opted for longer articles of clothing to cover their back side and upper thighs.

However, apparently, such clothing choices are seen as inappropriate and an attempt to skirt the already highly authoritarian dress codes for women.

To most Westerners, the idea that any authority figure would deem a woman’s clothing as too long, is strikingly peculiar. The idea that clothing would then be forcibly shortened to adhere to the rules of a government’s dress code is stranger still.

Since the Communist party aims to completely eradicate any possibility that women could potentially hide weapons or explosives in their clothing, they have now resorted to the deplorable act of shearing off women’s clothing, so that their legs and back side will remain visible at all times, as seen in the photos shared by the DOAM Twitter account.

It seems obvious that the Chinese government fears Uyghurs will continue to push the boundaries of state policy. Therefore the local cadres have opted for these very disrespectful displays to ensure compliance.

Last month, a video of a Uyghur woman being forced to marry a Chinese man went viral, displaying another despicable tactic of "gene washing" that the Chinese government is using to forcibly integrate the Uyghur ethnic group into “socialism with Chinese characteristics.”

The human rights situation in Xinjiang appears to be rapidly deteriorating, with the Chinese government using every means necessary to punish resistance, creating what has been called an “open air prison” and what may be the most surveilled region on Earth.

Yeah, but we don't ask Muslims to stop going to Madressa for religious studies, neither we enforce a dress code for Muslims, they can pretty much live freely and practice anything, from Salafism to Sufism, Ahamadiya without any persecution. The reason China made friends with Pakistan is exactly for the purpose. I must say, the Chinese are damn brilliant.:) They silenced all the voice with $$$

Xinjiang kids enjoy free education up to high school, medicare, free meals and accomodation, school shuttle service... What about Indian kids?

When you live in a shithole where children don't have access to proper education, food even clean water and die in great number due to malnutrition, girls in constant worry about their safety and bathrooms are a kind of luxury, what makes you believe you can feel for others who enjoy a far better life than youself?

China is doing wrong here and it’s a failed policy which began recently. They should reverse these laws.
Whatever we do in China is none of your business and whatever you do in Pakistan is not our concern and we alway keep our mouths shut and we always do. You don't dictate how our laws should be written and we don't care about yours. That's the foundation that trust can be built, without this corner stone, nothing can be built upon.

whatever goes in china is non of our business, we should praise CCP for their good work in both economics and how a society should be run.

Every country has problems , Pakistan also does, but as a friend we don't point fingers. But Xinjiang is our land and we want it to be developed and prosperous, we don't want to see bombing attacks happen on weekly basis and hunderds die of those attacks and Xinjiang being forever stuck in backwardness and poverty. Our laws are for peace and order, stability and smooth development for this region. The result is clearly been seen, Xinjiang now is a very peaceful region and tourism is booming, became the top tourist destination in China. It's GDP gowth one of the highest in China.

You are right,my fellow Indians are stupid. We need to follow your development plan in Xinjiang and apply on Kashmir.

So this is what you really think of Muslims. Doesn’t bode well for you at all. You are totally reliant on oil from Muslims, occupying Muslim Uyghur land, and trying to make inroads in Pakistan, Afg, and CARs. Haven’t you learned anything from the fall of USSR and now declining US.

If you oppress Muslims, you will collapse.

Every single Muslim is already the part of a nation, this is the nation of Muhammad saws. What happens to one Muslim in China affects us all. Every Muslim is obligated to look after the interests of his fellow Muslim.

Trust is built on respect and goodwill. If you are forbidding Islam in Xinjiang, eventually this will affect not only your relationship with Pakistan but all other Muslim nations as well. Also it will make Uygurs fight you more. Why keep doing the same actions and expecting a different result?

Other Pakistanis may stay silent, but because of our faith, some of us will call out your ill treatment of our brothers. Islam teaches us to observe justice for all people and we don’t accept the doctrine of “might is right.”

Don’t tell us what to do. We are more than capable of speaking about whatever we feel like on our own website.

Pakistanis, like Turks, are a brave nation which will speak the truth when cowards cannot and tyrants silence them.

OK, good luck then, China never bends to terrorism, bring it on.

Will you take responsibility if religious fundamentals start to explode themselves in their country ?? If not , you should not dictate what they should or should not to keep their citizens safe ..

In fact, I don't like Islam, not because it is religion, but they stick to something wrong, refuse to accept it and do change.

No religion should be spread in school, Children should not be allowed to Mosque, Imam should be managed and controlled, too much Mosque and imam(this are parasite), they waste too much money, what do they do for development of China? if don't want change, go to hell, not to want to eradicate, but want make you better, of course, I don't think many muslim think so.

Don't threat our Non-Muslim, if you are really that good, Muslim world would not like now, in chaos and backward, accepting you have deficiency and changing them is very hard?

How many restriction you impose between Non-Muslim and Muslim? oppress you? think that why you are not liked? In China, The Hui and Uyghur are Chinese first, not your business, If China wipe they all? you will invade China because they are Muslim? so for a muslim, religion first, nation second?
