China is already the world top exporter of vegetables, etc and world top producer of rice, fishes, etc.

But its consumption keep on rising and so I view it differently.

China may be now planning a major decoupling of its food supplies from both USA and the 5 eyes nations esp. Australia.
Cutting down the excessiveness in over ordering food and reduce wastage is the way forward in such strategy.
If I am a food supplier to China from these countries, I would be very worried.
