While India is in war mode, there is a circus going on here. With chor Nawaza/Zardari's health and Mullah Fuzla Diesel's dharna being the main stories in the media and Kashmir has taken a back seat.

Even a bigger tragedy is that at such a critical juncture of our history when we needed a strong leadership with an iron will that had the courage and the testicular fortitude to take on our enemies and take the war to them rather than wait for the enemy to come for us; we as a nation don't have that leadership unfortunately. This defensive, pacifist, coward mentality was never our way of dealing with India.

In the 90's when entire world used to accuse us of helping terrorists BS; we used to show the so called "International community" middle finger and would do what we thought was best. In the 90's we supported Afghan Taliban and accepted their rule when entire world refused to accept their government. We helped Kashmiri Mujahideen in 90's that kicked out Gangooz from Kashmir. Not to mention nuclear tests.
That time our economy was as f**ked as it is today and we were under US sanctions as well. But today our leaders start shivering at the word of some pos organization called FATF.

In late 70's when Soviets invaded Afghanistan and Pakistan was next on the list; we had General Zia who successfully led Pakistan at that critical juncture of our history. When Americans invaded Afghanistan under the farce of 9/11 and India and US both wanted to come after Pakistan; we had Musharraf who (despite his many blunders during his regime) sided with the US and we as a nation survived that critical period.

Even PM himself has said that India might attack Azad Kashmir. We know the enemy is coming for us. And yet we are still letting the enemy have the time to fully prepare. Right now enemy has the initiative. Enemy will decide the time and the place to strike while we will only respond to the aggression. Let's suppose the war is fought inside AJK and GB. Then what? AJK and GB has a population of about 4 million and 2 million respectively. In case of war; is the state ready to handle the mass influx of civilians if the people over there are told to leave their homes in case of Indian attack as the cities are close to LOC? Just a month back, a minor earthquake occurred in Kashmir and then army had to do the rescue work while civilian government was nowhere to be seen.

In the end all I will say is that these last 11 years of f**king democracy has screwed Pakistan totally.

The loss of life is not acceptable. Whatever our differences, killing innocent people is never on. I know it is natural for all of us to believe the narratives of own countries. But I don't condone loss of life anywhere. If IA is indeed hitting civilians it should stop. Same is the case if PA is doing it on this side. As far as it is about our fight; the one who asks firstly need to civil & have some manners too. Let's call it a day of reasoning on many accounts and people sitting in luxury bedrooms having costly laptops or Ipads to type anything; doesn't have any idea as how many bullets are already being fired & Jawans sacrificing. Furthermore, the intention is not to risk innocent lives at all though, people being clueless have no value of any life be it civilian or uniformed.

Why you fail to mention the full journey towards that stage,why selectively blame past 10 years and forgetting 9 past them?
