Ironic rice of India

The minister said in spite of accepting all their conditions we didn't get the rice. That implies India was in fact unwilling to sell to us. How can anyone infer from the article that the transaction didn't take place only because BD didn't place an order!!??

At least, the GoB did not trust the words of GoI. It did not remit the money in advance. Corrupt Indian politicians would have thought it was a gift from BD for its hungry millions. We could have lost the entire money. Instead of waiting for an Indian goodwill sell, it was wise for the govt (AL though they may be) to go for SE asian rice. Telling lies is a part of indian culture, they feel proud of it.
