May those brave falcons rest in peace.

Happened today in Southeast near city of Konarak, plane had a technical failure 20 minutes after taking off. First they wanted to return to base which was 28 km away, but jet got out of control. They wanted to land on a road near a village, but civilians cars were on the road, which forced them to divert while engine was on fire. Plane crashed right beside the village, both ejected in last seconds.

Instructor pilot Col. Hamid Afifi poor martyred instantly after eject, and student Lt. Ali Boloorkhani died of wounds minutes later as they ejected too late.

True hero. Didnt bail until they were certain the fighter jet didnt land on the village and innocent people.

RIP.

RIP

Losing a life saving an old piece of metal crap is not worth it-
I do have a feeling they tried and failed with their lives to save that plane-

RIP . you'll be remembered .

the instructor should have ejected both himself and his own student . he should have known that their lives are much more valuable than a piece of metal .

my heartiest condolences to their family and all Iranians
