I wouldn't say first time, but the last time was when we supported the Spartans in the Peloponnesian war of 5th Century BCE.
in that war we support both side for several decade and them finally supported Spartans. the point was to make them busy with each other and let the rest of the word take a breather .

No evidence we supported Athens, please show your evidence before arguing for the sake of arguing. Either way, my point still stands that that was the last time a middle eastern nation had a proxy war in Europe.

Can't say I'm convinced because CNN article but what are the chances they might be doing this?

Guys, a comparison between Shahed-149 Gaza and Shahed-129

The advantages of Gaza variant

44% increase in flight altitude, 46% increase in flight time, more than 2 times the speed and more than 2 times the payload are the differences that are due to the 40% increase in the wingspan and about 2.5 times the take-off weight, and of course the use of the engine Turboprop is obtained instead of piston engines.

We didn't heard of the Bayraktar drones for a while, where are they?
pantsirs, BUKs and Tor Ms, fried and cilantro'd them a while ago, and for their price, it wasnt sustainable.

THis makes us confirm that those people on PDF who had been saying for years, and we mean since 2011, that Russian air defense systems in general are crap, because of their perfromance in Syria, and now they see that Russia's air defense systems are in good shape. Bayrakback to Turkey is no more the hype drone, its easy to target and too expensive to expend like Shahed 136s. Great question btw.
