I do agree Iran fan fend off attacks from regional nations. But not the US. We saw what US did to Iraq. They have serious/dangerous firepower.

However,I believe US doesn't want military conflict with Iran as it has much to lose(region wise/influence wise) and has everything to gain in normalizing relations with Iran.

You seem to know squat about military exercises. Life-size models of aircraft and ships are usually made for the 'opposing forces' or 'Red Land' so they can be used as targets by the 'Blue Land'. This one is a copy of Nimitz Class super carrier, complete with model jets which is used in practice to train pilots and missile batteries so that the real carrier can be destroyed in an actual war scenario!

Most likely an empty shell. But its shape, silhouette and size resembles the real thing. One doesn't need to know what's inside because it's just for target practice.
