BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:00 P.M.) – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) forces killed a large score of terrorists in the southeastern provinces of Sistan and Baluchistan, Thursday, the Tasnim News Agency reported.

According to the statement released by the Iran-based news agency, the IRGC attacked a group of terrorists in the southeastern part of the country, killing a number of militants, while also confiscating a large amount of explosives and ammunitions.

The IRGC’s Quds Base, operating in Iran’s southeastern regions, told the Tasnim Agency that clashes between their forces and the terrorists broke-out inside the Qasr Al-Qand County during the afternoon hours on Thursday.

“The security forces have destroyed an explosive-laden device with 600 kilograms of explosives, and have confiscated five bombs improvised for suicide attacks, more than 700 kg of explosive materials, tens of thousands of cartridges, and a number of weapons,” a statement from the Iranian Ministry of Defense read.

Now wait till several news outlets convert near into inside Pakistani border

I appreciate what Iranian army did and wish them luck and even pray for their success in killing terrorists but you should stop making jokes and comparing them with Pak Army :undecided::crazy:

I think no one is superior than other in planet earth,
America lost war in Vietnam, afghan war is ongoing,
German lost WW1 and WW2
Japan lost war with US
Pakistan lost 1971 War
India lost 1965 & Kargil War
Russia lost Sino–Russian War (1652–1689)

IRGC is much stronger than yours ...

Mullah stronk..

iranian terrorists killed by Iranian forces..Good for us.

Soheil remember they have nukes dont **** with them:woot::cheesy:

what nukes have to do with defeating soon to be decleared terrorists group by US called IRGC? Its not even a conventional army. Its guerrilla force like Taliban armed with ballistic missiles, Pakistan can too create such milita's to fight against IRGC..

Iranian security forces have carried out a string of raids and arrests after several terror attacks.

The leader of a Sunni Muslim militant group was killed by the Revolutionary Guards in southeast Iran during operations in recent days, the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported on Monday.

Three members of the Ansar al-Furqan group, which has attacked security forces and civilians, according to Iranian officials, were also killed by Iranian forces in the southeast region of the country last week, state media said.

Jalil Qanbar-Zahi, leader of Ansar al-Furqan, had been pursued by Iranian security forces for 25 years and was killed by the Guards near the city of Qasr Qand, IRNA reported.

Iranian security forces have carried out a string of raids and arrests after a complex terror attack last week targeted the Iranian parliament in Tehran and the shrine of the founder of the Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, south of the capital, leaving 18 dead.

Islamic State claimed responsibility for that attack.

On Sunday night, the Guards fired half a dozen missiles from western Iran at Islamic State targets in eastern Syria in what Guards commanders said was a message the perpetrators of the Tehran attack and their supporters, state media said.

Iran's restive Sistan and Baluchestan province, in the southeast of the country on the borders with Pakistan and Afghanistan, is home to the Baluch minority and is a hotbed of Sunni militant activity against the Shi’ite-dominated government of the Islamic Republic.

The province, one of Iran's most impoverished, is also part of a well-known drug trafficking route.

Qanbar-Zahi was wanted for an attack on a Shi'ite religious ceremony in the city of Chabahar, planning suicide attacks and killing police officers among other crimes, according to IRNA.

During the operations which led to Qanbar-Zahi's death, the Revolutionary Guards found a car bomb containing 600 kilograms of explosives, 15 suicide bombs, 700 kilograms of explosive material and tens of thousands of bullets, IRNA reported.

Ansar al Furqan is a splinter group of Jundallah, a militant group that also carried out several attacks in the province, according to the Mashregh news site.

Abdolmalek Rigi, the head of Jundallah, was captured and executed by Iranian authorities in 2010.

you dumb dumb if you dont have anything to contribute then shut up, IRGC is Asymmetric warfare force, not regular Iranian army which is called artesh if i am not wrong, Artesh is deprived from modern weapons bcoz Mullah fear coup.

Thats just fancy talk for a militia. Lol

Iranians don't waste your worthy time. Let Pakistanis think they are superpower because of their third grade Chinese made MBT or 80's technology jf-17 ...

Yes. That's the spirit

you can post as much smiles as you like but it wont change the fact that IRGC is defensive Asymmetric warfare force.. Also The Tank you mentioned are new or under development, what they used to operate before? How many tanks compared to lets say Pakistani or Turkish armed forces? What about their air wing compared to conventional armies of Pakistan and Turkey? I already accepted that they are favoured militia of Mullah with ballistic missiles.
