Iran have won the 2018 Beach Soccer Intercontinental Cup (Dubai), topping their group (defeating the US, Tahiti and Russia) and then defeating Egypt 3-1 in the SF and Russia 4-2 in the final.
This is the second time Iran has won the Cup (the first time was 2013). The defending world champions Brazil were defeated 5-3 on penalties by Russia in the semi finals.
