Wow, nice APC, it looks very well made. Congrats

Impressive.

thanks, well they have to be tested too in real battlefields and war conditions.

I'm going to invite 500 in August 22.. u know he was an honorable mate in air defence threads...at least one more time...i want to see how people change their tone...

Tag them ALL and i mean ALL of them :enjoy: but as you know they will fines something to be ungrateful about the system.

Why should our enemies be "grateful" about our defense capabilities?

The positive thing about the Safir jeep was and is that even its engine is truly Iranian made, a copy of a Nissan engine. Iran did much effort in the 90's and 2000's to fully copy that engine.

Aras-1 had great advances over the Safir but needed a stronger Chinese made engine.
Hence there is some hope that the team behind coping the Nissan engine started to copy the Chinese engine (and gearbox) of the Aras-1 and was able to improve it to 30% more power (better inlet aircooling/turbocharger).
However, this is unfortunately unlikely as the industry behind the Nissan motor, needs something commercial like a Jeep, SUV or Pickup to justify adding or replacing the Nissan engine.
Hence without high numbers of a commercial product the meanwhile old Safir Nissan engine copy remains in production and the Aras-2 uses a imported Chinese engine. A diesel engine would have problems to sell on petrol-intense Iranian consumer infrastructure/market anyway.
So I hope they have at least tweaked the Chinese engine on their own to 30% more power.
