IPP's agreements were poison for Pakistan and this agreement is mother of all poison.
Sharif is simply looking for a temporary solution, at any cost!

How exactly? it's cheaper than what Pakistan is paying to IPPs. Also, it's not a temporary solution, not at all..It's not a solution, but to cover up energy requirements for time being, till hyderal plans, IP, Coal Power Plants, Nuclear, Bio are ready. This will be removed from the grid. You need to go through complete Sharif's Plan to tackle this whole Energy Crisis.

Iran dedication for prosperous Pakistan = A lie
Why?
Because somebody here is more loyal to Saudi Arabia than his country.

IPP = Independent Power Producers a power policy from the mid 90s

IP = Iran Pakistan Gas Pipeline
