Iran to return US secret drone...

You know how some rape victims end up falling in love with the rapist? That must apply to you and Gambit. How many millions died? How many millions lost their body parts? How many decades was Vietnam set back? I guess when the damage is so great, the brain decides to engage in escapism.

Definition of ESCAPISM:
habitual diversion of the mind to purely imaginative activity or entertainment as an escape from reality or routine

In your case you have also chosen to fall in love with the rapist.

I cannot agree more, these guys think they know everything about Vietnam war when they know so little about it. Who the hell do they think they are? No wonder they are so isolated by the world, no friends. They must have nothing better to do in life so they read crap like this in forums then pull assumptions out of their a$$es to make a point when they have no concrete evidence to back up their points. Pathetic.
They are self-made 'experts' on the Vietnam War and their feeble knowledge came from highly selective bits and pieces of information doled out to them by highly biased sources. That is why when faced with more complete knowledge that challenged their emotional investments into the self-made 'expert' status, it is clear as to why they became so angry at the lone Viet-American here who dared to questions their self-made 'expert' status. The more knowledge they are forced to learn since this is a publicly accessible forum, the angrier they get. The angrier they get, the easier their latent racism will manifest and that happened. All this talk about wanting to 'understand' why any Viet-American would speak for the US is just convenient distraction tactic. They are exposed and they know it.

Tehran, Iran (CNN) -- An Iranian non-profit company says it will honor U.S. President Barack Obama's request that Iran return a drone that crashed there last year.

But instead of the actual drone, the company says it will send miniature toy versions. A lot of them.

"We plan to send a full squadron of 12 to the White House for President Obama as a present," said Reza Kioumarsi, a spokesman for the Aaye Art Group, a Tehran-based non-profit, non-governmental company that makes novelty items.

The company is trying to determine what Obama's favorite color is before sending the drones, which are 1/80th the size of the real drone, Kioumarsi said.

In December, Obama said the United States has asked Iran to return the highly classified RQ-170 Sentinel drone.

"We've asked for it back. We'll see how the Iranians respond," Obama said at the time.

This is probably not the response Obama was seeking.

Iran has said the country's armed forces had downed the drone near Kashmar, some 225 kilometers (140 miles) from the border with Afghanistan on December.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad gave a speech in December that seemed to suggest that Iran wouldn't return it.

"The North Americans at best have decided to give us this spy plane," Ahmadinejad said.

The RQ-170 Sentinel is one of the United States' most sophisticated drones and flies at up to 50,000 feet. It is designed to evade sophisticated air defenses.

One former intelligence official said it's "impossible to see" and discounted Iranian claims that it had been brought down by some form of electronic counter-measures. "It simply fell into their laps," he said -- after satellite communication was lost. <<< gambit wrote this last sentence

Like I said, we have no problems with a few jokes between friends and enemies. But when the shooting starts, we will be handing Iran splinters of Iranian Navy ships. Of course, most of said ships will be at the bottom of the sea serving as artificial reefs. Going green, ya know...

Am in no position to accept things for the US government. The Swiss Embassy can help you there. Unfortunately, the USN will not be so accommodating in returning splinsters of Iranian Navy ships. The best the USN can do is to try its best to make sure enough of said splinters will wash ashore for you to collect.

On second though, you can direct post it to: 1600 Pensylvania Ave, Washington DC.

Do not forget to give a legible return address.
