are you aware part of upgrade package for F-20 was AN/APG-67 the Radar used in F-16A/B and that Radar can easily installed in F-5 , by the way the Radar in Kosar is far from the one in F5

by the way why you think the avionic must be old , Iran announced 4th gen Avionic . is it hard to believe by advancement in computer science since 1980 , it has become possible to design modern avionics that actually can be installed in F-5 Frames ? the problem with F-5 was limited space in its nose , otherwise it can easily house the engine of F-16 or JF-17 . and that limited space in nose were mainly a problem for 1960 and 1980 that electronics were a lot bigger than today .

Stop comparing Apples with Oranges, JFT is 4th gen bird with NCW capabilities, and will become 4++gen fighter soon with block-3, what this replica of F-5 can do in reality?? Chest thumping is easy, proving with facts is difficult.

F-20 was very different from F-5, just like basic Su-27 is very different from Su-35.

Also I'm comparing the cockpit wit the cockpit . both of them are 4th generation aand you can't say one is better than others.

F-20 was very different from F-5, just like basic Su-27 is very different from Su-35.

The nose was not that different . and it's where there must be room for radar .

Nobody said kosar is faster or more agile n kosar role is something else and from the start we said the speed is not even 1.5 mach .all the discussion is about avionic that Iran claim is 4th generation and some people here believe its 2nd generation
