ISLAMABAD: Commerce Minister Khurram Dastgir says Iranian Agricultural Ministry has lifted the ban to import kinnow from Pakistan.

In a statement, he said this step would expedite the progress in trade relations between the two countries.

Khurram Dastgir has urged the exporters of kinnow to avail this terrific opportunity.

He said the agreements between the central banks of the two countries will be signed soon.

It's only a temporary lifting of the ban.... After 20 days ban is back on... lol

Ban lift was good enough to post news here.
Whereas no one posted news, when PCMA were pointing at Iranian cement dumping.

Good news. Hopefully this will improve relations between the two nations

Banned for economic reasons. They already have sanctions on them, so they restrict imports to keep their exchange balanced, since they can't export much (or no one is willing to buy from them)

Unlike Pakistan, where our Imports are higher than exports, creating increasing liability and debt.

But so what, as long as the rich and corrupt get imported Italian marble in their house and imported porsche/Ferrari/Lambo in their garage. Ill gotten gains stolen from hard working Pakistani's like us

any trade between iran and pakistan is positive -- we need to consolidate our relationship and there is nothing better than trade to do this through!
