Iran would never have normal relations with any Muslim Countries and it is proved by their actions. Executions are internal matter of Saudi-Arabia as it is for Iran. So i don't understand why they are being so Hostile as they have executed large number of Irani Sunnis too.
Iran is not in the shape of taking part in Global politics. Iran should seriously consider about improving their internal matters and save Iran from further Isolation.
If he would be the Citizen of Iran then why would i care? I respect Iranian and any other other country's Law as i do in my country. But if that person will be citizen of my country and he is being executed for no crime then i would surely burn Iranian Embassy to ground no matter if he is Sunni or Shiite. (Just Example, Don't have any Intention like this). What would you do if Iran execute a high Sunni cleric in Iran?

no Umra is not mandatory and it was wise to ban it.Hajj is mandatory iranian Khomeini has no right to ban it-
3000 died in Hajj 2015. I admit, that number is still not, in terms of percentage very high, given that out of 2 million pilgrims, that would make it 0.15% chance of dying. That's almost 1 dead per 650 people. Those are bad odds.
But compare it to this, US forces in Afghanistan,
"In 2009 there were 106,380 personnel in the army; 98 died as a result of their posting to Afghanistan. 71 of these deaths were from one part of the army - the infantry."
This will give us a percentage of 0.06%. This means that going to Hajj in 2015 was 2.5 times riskier than being a US infantry in Afghanistan in 2009.
The riskiest job in USA is a fisherman, with "In fact, fishermen have been the most at risk of all professionals since 1992, with 42 deaths in 2011 -- that's more than 127 deaths per 100,000 workers". That still gives us 0.12%, meaning that Hajj is still riskier than the most dangerous job (in USA, at least).
Or look at it this way. The most dangerous sport in the world is BASE Jumping. The probability to die while doing BASE Jumping is 0.04%. Skydiving is only 0.0009%.
In conclusion, going to Hajj is dangerous!

How can a govt stop somebody from making a religious pilgrimage be it hajj or umrah. Who the hell are they? They can get it signed on a document that they bear no responsibility if any accident occurs but they can't ban their civilians. So much for religious rights.
Yes the 2015 hajj was very sad and the Saudi govt was incompetent and they didn't investigate rightly nor bear any apology but this is not right either...
You can waiver responsibility but you cannot stop somebody from fulfilling their religious duty.
Iran and Saudi Arabia. Both of these countries need to get their acts straight.
well he was a great mujahed which god aided him in his jihad otherwise how it was possible to attack the caliph in middle of the day with only a dagger and stab him 15 time then when his bodyguard come to protect him he killed 8 and injured 7 of them (and all of those 15 body guard were arab heroes ) then go back to Iran and live your life in peace and nobody can catch you . if its not God aid and protection then what is it.and don't you think anybody who has such favours from God is worthy of of being called a Saint .
Hope you liked the answer ,and don't forget every time you guys talk nonsense you get such answers .
And much wiser if SA banned permanently and give that quota to other countries.
This is the correct approach, which currently i find not there especially in Iranian and they have to understand that SA have not lost any thing and they can allot that quota to other Muslims countries and in future it is Iranian people who will suffer the most. Ups and down will be part of life, but we should act smartly so that in future we are not the one who feel embarrassed.
Many Iranian prefer to spend the allocated money for Hajj to charity activities ... a wise decision that is turning into a culture ...
