Iranian aircraft attacked three villages inside Iraq over the weekend. The airstrikes — Iran’s first on Iraqi soil since the U.S. invasion — could complicate the Obama administration’s efforts to normalize relations with Tehran.

The government of Iraq is probably closer to (better friends with) Iran than it is with the Party of Free Life of Kurdistan (PJAK). The US lets Turkey attack the PPK also. Probably this is a good thing. For the US to object would be hypocritical. OF COURSE, the US is NOT hypocritical. this proves it.
