Welcome!! :usflag::pakistan:

Nuclear weapons have prevented a third world war. While nuclear weapons are reprehensible, so is human nature's propensity to attempt to steal from and dominate other peoples. Therefore, nuclear weapons are necessary and good until human nature changes to the extent that war becomes culturally "unthinkable".

I don't believe things that didn't happen can have causal value, but thank you for the welcome!

Ahh. So you don't believe in the concept of "deterrence"? I believe that something can be reasonably viewed as having prevented something else from happening. For example, the great wall of China prevented China from being overrun by enemies during the Han, Qin, Ming and many other dynasties. By your logic you would deny this because the invasions did not happen.
