International probe into Kashmir killings imperative now: UN rights chief

Masood Azhar? The guy released from an Indian jail by an act of terrorism? Not a terrorist? Oh, ok. Good to know where you are coming from.

Read the highlighted part. Anything else are mere accusations yet to be proven.

Blunt disregard? Are we being accused of using artillery & fighter jets to bomb them? Flatten whole areas, call them IDP's etc etc?

Some 80 killed in 3 months? As opposed to the carnage elsewhere? Good luck with that....

Dude how many have been blinded? How long has the curfew being imposed? thats besides the killings. You want to close your eyes be my guest, dont expect others too as well.

"....by an act of terrorism?" You should read the part next to what you highlighted, he wasn't left off by the courts...

Curfew is not something extreme, curfew is imposed for a reason. Some have suffered injuries while protesting, it's no way comparable to ordering entire populations to clear out & then flattening whole areas using artillery & fighter jets. You are welcome to any narrative you wish to push, no reason to expect us to stick only to the narrative chosen by you.

I am not pushing any narrative but the one whole world is watching. 90 days of curfew, 80 according to you killed (although the number is much much higher according to other sources), those blinded and tortured are apart from this. Yet it is the Indian forces that are the occupiers and not the other way round. So no matter how you want to spin the story, the fact is there for everyone to see. Which is why even dead organisations like UN are finally speaking out.

As I said, you are entitled to your viewpoint. I'm not about to give much credence to an opinion which discounts your own methods used internally, flattening whole areas using artillery & fighter planes and raking up the Indian use of pellet guns for riot control.

lol Is this your argument? Do complain when Pakistan flattens an otherwise declared disputed territory. Till than Kashmir has no relevance whatsoever with what Pakistan does internally. Otherwise i could just as easily bring what India did during operation Blue Star.

Ya, fat load that argument will get traction. Only disputed areas should be treated with kid gloves.. Blue star was in 1984, though your logic of bringing in blue star which took place in a specific place as opposed to bombing entire areas, is questionable. We are talking about recent events though, not what happened 32 years ago, go down that route & we can go another 13 years back to find an even more shining example of how Pakistan is in no position to pass any comment on human rights.

Yeah while you are at it do tell which entire areas did Pakistan bombed or carpet bombed as told by your media? And yes Pakistan is in perfect position to pass any comment after all we are not the one holding out UN from Kashmir, right its india. So till you get balls to actually open Kashmir and expose Pakistan for its propaganda, you can save the rhetoric for another time.

You are welcome to your narrative, we will dispute you in the manner of our choosing. We are not about to play your game any more than you are likely to do ours. Will end this here, we are getting repetitive.

Was UN sleeping when Pakistanis were murdering innocent Bangladeshis? UN lost it's credibility the day when it turned a blind eye towards Crimea, Vietnam, Iraq, etc. India if goes to UN over Balochistan, G-B or Azad Kashmir would sound nothing but useless. Period.

Insha Malik, the 14-year-old Kashmiri girl blinded by the Indian forces with pellet-guns: the pellets not only made her lose her sight forever, but reached her brain, causing a deadly infection. The doctors say that she keeps crying in pain, and there is not much they can do.

Kashmiri boy, 11, is 'killed by Indian government forces' and thousands defy official curfew to attend his funeral
  • Nasir Shafi was found dead after he went missing on Friday morning, with bullets in his back
  • More than 5,000 people defied curfew like restrictions in Harwan to offer prayers for the 11-year-old
  • Nasir, nicknamed Momin, the youngest of three siblings, is said to have gone missing after protesters from his village were chased by security forces
