AAD was earlier tested for 1500-2000KM range IRBMs. Now it will be validated against 2500-3000KM IRBMs.

Indian ABM development is happening step by step. First we counter IRBMs, then ICBMs and the finally intercept and destroy missiles in midcourse. we can hope by 2020 our whole country should be nuclearattack proof.
