Insurgents flooding in from Pakistan to north: Afghan official

Not really buddy Pakistan is a way powerful country compared to Afghanistan. If you really want to have an ally in Afghanistan then you have to do it no better way to show that Pakistan genuine ally for Afghanistan.

Its good for both countries.

And why do we have to prove anything?
If Afghanistan needs Pakistan's friendship then they better up their game and stop whining.

1) Pakistan Army is already too stretch,They are engage in 7 Agencies i.e FATA & They are also present on the Eastern Border..
2) Afghanistan and Pakistan Border is almost 2,400 km long and most of the region is Mountainous and it cannot be guarded 24/7, nor Pakistan Army have 1.6 Million Soldiers to guard it at the same time while operations against terrorists are going on

.
Afghanistan should welcome their brethren with open arms. They should be happy to see their brothers still alive.

.
Look like somebody in GHQ is not happy with Ghanni recent overture's

.
How long till entire border is sealed?

We can't keep mothering Afghanistan like this. Since 1800s they have been in perpetual state of war. Seal the damn border.

.
AFghan Taliban is Regional group with regional purpose but TTP is quite a mysterious one. They dont hesitate to deal with a devil if their is a gain involve so Afghans should better be careful from them if they are able to infiltrate in Afghanistan. Afghan Taliban is negotiable but TTP is not.

First, last I checked there were 20,000 US troops in Afghanistan. What are they doing there? Second Pakistan military is stretched in FATA. Third, the post I quoted made it sound like it was Pakistan's responsibility to take care of Afghanistan's problems, which is obviously not true.

hmm valid but i think Afghanistan and Pakistan can jointly man the posts that way it also increases co ordination.

If NATO did their job properly they would have done 1 final operation on Eastern Afghan border to deal with spill over. But all we got was a botched attempt at invasion.

Next time Afghanistan needs invading, ask Pakistan. They will have it all wrapped up within 6 months.

This is not fair guys.

You know Afghanistan does not have the army and resources to man and protect their borders. Yet you are utting the onus on them?

Why can't you help out and prevent this exodus from destroying them further?
Do you want us to go in Afghanistan? If US army cannot sweep clean Afghanistan then how can we? We need to secure our side of borders. Also we can assist them but we can't send our troops inside Afghanistan. We are not mongols.

we always help them but their army show up when they cover terrorist to move to Pakistan. there are several incidence when Afghan army trained by indians open fire on Pakistani posts..
we are still helping them to stand on their feet to tackle these crises.

Insurgents flooding in from Pakistan to north: Afghan official

An Afghan interior minister official said on Wednesday that insurgents are arriving in huge numbers from Pakistan in an effort to destabilize Afghanistan’s northern provinces, the Associated Press reported.

Sediq Sediqqi, a spokesperson for the Afghan interior ministry said that the Afghan troops are engaged in fighting militants on the outskirts of the capital of Kunduz province, where the Afghan Taliban have launched an offensive.

Sediqqi further said the Afghan Taliban are joined by “terrorists” arriving from Pakistan, which also include foreign fighters from neighboring countries.

The Afghan Taliban started their annual “spring offensive” last week, vowing nationwide attacks in what is expected to be the bloodiest fighting season in a decade.

Sediqqi added that around 200 militants have been killed so far, along with 12 Afghan soldiers in Kunduz fighting.

Pakistan on June 15, 2014 launched a military operation against militants in the troubled North Waziristan agency of Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata).
