Insaniyat, Jamhuriyat, Kashmiriyat don’t match New Delhi’s deeds: Geelani
“Stalwarts and architects of their Insaniyat have left no stone unturned to push us to the wall by all the means and might of their power and aggression. They have been so ruthless and barbaric that human history hardly finds even the trace of such events,”

Chairman of Hurriyat Conference (G ) Syed Ali Geelani today said the words like ‘Insaniyat, Jamhuriyat and Kashmiriyat’ being used by New Delhi “does not suit its deeds.”
“Word like “Insaniyat” used by India has been proved in every nook and corner of Jammu and Kashmir. They have mutilated the face of Insaniyat to such an extent that it has lost its meaning as well. Unabated killings, blinding scores of innocents, maiming people from eight to 80-year old persons, injuring and crippling thousands, ransacking houses and beating inmates, dragging young people from their bedrooms and beating them to death, arresting hundreds of youth across Kashmir are a few footprints of their so called Insaniyat here in Jammu and Kashmir,” Geelani said in a statement.

Geelani, said talking to media persons outside his residence before being arrested while marching towards Eidgah.
“Kashmiris as a nation are the best example of Indian democracy and we have seen and borne the brunt of its Jamhooriyat for the last seven decades. Indian Home Minister’s recent twin visits are hopeless for him as he got no takers here in Kashmir except a few people paid and groomed by its own agencies. On his visits he only increased the number of armed forces as he knows that this is the only tool with which they are holding the land of Kashmir,” he said.
“What can you expect from the people who have laws for cow protection but not humans, especially minorities mostly Muslims,” he said.
Geelani appealed youth to be vigilant and disciplined “as this movement is going to be precious with each passing day.” “Our traders small or big are bearing the brunt and are suffering the losses of thousands of crores daily. They offer these huge financial sacrifices consciously and willingly to see an end to the age old miseries and suffering of their brethren,” he said.
Meanwhile, Hurriyat has strongly condemned the arrest of Sehzad Ahmad brother of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat District president Mir Hafizullah.
