We are one emotional nation. We have no sense of direction.
Nothing else to say.

Better than sitting on the sidelines and watching everything go down the drain.

What can we do? There is no magic stick that could set everything right in an instant. Our main problems are economy, terrorism and religious intolerance, not democracy. This is what we should be worried about. I hate this Govt as much as anyone but we can't afford to destabilize a Govt in the middle of a war. We have many things at stake.

We will get our chance after two years to bring a revolution THROUGH ELECTIONS.

A very interesting article was posted by fatman. Read it.

These problems will go by time. Just like filteration. But you will have to hope for best, in the upcoming generation, which looks bad.
We have spent year with them, and wont mind a few more. But what about the new comers, wont they take control of this?
Wont they do the same?
We need to have political awarness between the youth!

While its nice to see such revolutions, what will Pakistan rise against ? Corruption, a weak system, lawlessness, economic problems, domestic instability, terrorism etc are problems that are not solved by a revolution. In fact if a similar uprising like Egypt happens in Pakistan, it will worsen things. You will loose the very little stability that the current government is somehow holding onto and the army is always sitting on the side lines to take advantage of such situations. Better to introduce a conscious change within the society first, re access your priorities and goals, empower the democratic government, introduce financial reforms, curb down on landlords and limit the army's involvement in the day to day affairs. What Pakistan needs is stability in every aspect, a revolution will add the final nails to the coffin.

Damn Indians - Why are you so worried about Pakistan Army - Every Single Post from Indians is about Pakistan Army this Pakistan Army that.Let me remind you something Pakistan Army consists of Pakistanis - It ain't some alien force so no matter how much propaganda you spread against it People will still support it.You guys seriously need to grow up and remove your frustration.

aysy kuch nhi hota jani pakistan main internet users inqalab nhi la sakty

Anyway back to topic : Pakistan cannot have revolution like Egypt because
1) Illiterate Jahil Qoom.
2) Most of the middle class and upper class is corrupted.
3) People are radicalized so any such revolution will be over taken by Jihadhis.
4) Pakistanis just don't have intellectual capacity to stage such a revolution.Pakistanis will probably end up raping women, stealing stuff etc.
5) Delusional People who think Pakistan should become radicalized and all Muslim countries are our brother and sisters. They probably never read anything other then our education system Pak/Social Studies.
Besides, a true revolution is impossible as there is no specific ideology for which Pakistanis will march for. This may sound harsh and i may look unpatriotic but i made these observations in Pakistan.

Precisely the reason Revolution is impossible in Pakistan

In short you are suggesting people stand by and do nothing?

It's not Illterate zahil quam ..... But rather a quam just busy earning its bread , not making any sense out of whats happening around it. Its not about will, its about overcoming the fear of the extremists.

The only way out is to protest now - when you can. If you just stand by, you become the perpetrator.

No - We have a democratic setup and we should support it - If Pakistani People are angry - They should vote better candidates next time.GOP is democratically elected.PS: Any such revolution will come in the grips of extremist and god forbid we might get TTP as central government.

Exactly sir. Tell GoP, No Performance - No Vote. That is your protest against corruption.
Regarding TTP, your citizens did have that option last time as well. But they PROVED by voting for PPP that the common man believes in rule of democracy -- not that of religious bigots.
