while less than a month ago images of an strange engine published in internet that depicted Iranian supreme leader ayatollah ali khamenei and sorena sattari, science and technology deputy of president among other officials and scientists inspecting it and new achievements of country's aerospace sector.
almost one week ago Iranian news outlets announced that a science based company successfully built country's first ramjet engine and today finally details of the engine released.
RJ-HP1, Iranian first ramjet engine:
Length: 956.5 mm
Diameter: 360 mm
Ramjet weight: 53 kg
weight (Engine accessories): 25 kg
Materials: Super alloys, steel
Fuel: JP-4
Speed: Mach 2 Speed at low altitude and , Mach 2.7 at high altitude,
Flight altitude: <1000M when in cruising stage
Exhaust temp.: 2000K
Thrust: 13 kN (~2900 lbf)
after mass production of RJ-HP1, Iran can potentially use this engine to improve it's anti ship cruise missile inventory with supersonic missiles.

also the engine can power anti aircraft systems with relatively slower but very long range missiles like UK sea dart and US RIM-8 talos.
