Indonesia’s Nonalignment Problem

Just reading at the above statement shows just how biased this article is against China...
The HSR project is doing fine, about 65% complete now.... The Jakarta MRT project is also doing fine, working on Phase 2 of it now... There were some delays but also progress for both... We have no issue with both projects or with both countries... The medium speed line is still under study and construction has not begun yet...

ok what about the other arguments??? like did our free and active foreign policy is helping us at all ?? did it stop them from sending their coast guard at all??

you see, if any war sort of conflict broke out between the Quad and China, you do realize that our geography sits right between the two?? we could save our self the humiliation of not able to stop both parties violation of our territory (especially the airspace) by aligning with one side. The side that actually had no active territorial issue and the side that our military had actually close relationship with.

now I do admit that Australia is being an asshole in the 90s, but it's the 90s...everybody is an assh*le in the 90s in one form or another. Australia actually supported us against the Dutch during the Independence war, unlike China.
